Avatar S03E3 : The Painted Lady

Submitted by tipoy on October 7, 2007 – 10:47 amNo Comment

Synopsis: on their quest to get near to the fire nation on the time of the eclipse, Aang and his team went to some swampy, muddy, and overly polluted river … they were hungry but luckily they found a small village nearby and they were all sick due to the water pollution caused by the metal factory which is owned by the fire nation. Anyway, Katara couldn’t just sit down and keep quiet as she saw the oppression and the quality of life the villagers are suffering in.

Cool Stuff: lil by lil Aang is able to weild his powers again and lets hope that by the time they’ll reach the fire-nation, he’s back 100% with his abilities plus learning the fire-element in time ;)

Sokka, Toph, Katara, and Aang saw the village in the middle of the river

Spoilers: it was Katara who poses as the painted lady as well as ticking everyone that Appa is sick just to delay their schedule and help the villagers … but in the end Katara saw the real painted lady emerges from the mist and thank her for all the things they’ve done to her people.
