It’s our first monthsary away from each other. It’s our first too that we barely got to talk because of the time difference and because it’s a weekend. (emote ako todo! hahaha) Steve’s in Iloilo for the Dinagyang shoot, while I am here in this cold cold place. (emote once again!) I’m not depressed just nostalgic, I guess. I wrote a poem for Steve. I’m pasting an excerpt of it here to celebrate our monthsary. Know what? I’m really not used to posting my poems (especially if it’s for him!) but he said, if he had a poem for me (emphasis on IF … hahaha…just kidding!), he’d have no hesitation of posting it for the whole world to see. So pakonti-konti lang muna. I’m posting a part of it lang … hehehe… (Note: I left out the first part )

Slowly I’ve learned
And am learning still
That there’s more to life than just my fill
Though at times I sulk
Thank you for making me see
That there’s more to life than just me

But thank you just the same for loving me
Happy … Sad … The way I am

Now I’m realizing
What loving someone means
Isn’t just the butterflies nor the warm fuzzy feeling
It’s the you and the me
It isn’t every argument won
It’s understanding and at times giving in
To the whims and fancies
To the objectionable points of view
An opportunity to see something new
Of the world through the eyes of another
Loving life’s simple things because of you
