– Don’t mean to sound depressing with this note but if there’s one thing I’ve realized during the past months, when life seems monotonous, take a breather.  Change the scenery and look around.  There’s more to life than work.  Haha! Easier said than done.

I should have posted this 2 weeks ago but kinda preoccupied right now with some self-initiated projects, hahaha … twas a fun filled day indeed wherein we went out for a kart racing ang only to find out that it was closed due to maintenance plus holiday, nyehehe … we’ll thanks to Ng.Yet as we got free tickets to StarCity and we really enjoyed riding their newest attraction the Sky Rider and Surf Dance … which some of the seesters didn’t have stamina for these kinds of rides so they took a much more challenging one, the caterpillar … with the screams pa ha!?, bwahahaha

as I hear from last year that they are making a new movie for the Hulk and indeed it’ll be shown this July (or maybe by Aug here in the Phil, hehehe)

but anyway, ITS REALLY AWESOME!!! … it is casted by Edward Norton (the Illusionist and the Italian job) as Bruce Banner and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross

will be out this summer 2008

yesterday Malou and I went to Fruj wedding and Malou was assigned as an abay (secondary-sponsor) for the veil … the wedding was set to 4:30pm … so after work I went down hurriedly to Malou’s place and when she opened the door meyn, my jaw dropped all the way down to the ground, hahaha … she’s very beautiful that day as she went down to a salon for her hair and makeup which is something that I don’t see everyday, hehe mwuah!!!

this is the 3rd part of my post during our vacation in Sagada … anyway, after spelunking Sumaging cave we went to the burial cave but Malou’s already too tired since Sumaging swept all of her charm and energy, hahaha … well, just me with Kuya Jes, John, Jucil, and Chocho who went on and check it out

coffins were all made from pine-trees which is quite common in Sagada and some were more than a 100yrs old already but might be due to their weather that most coffins are still preserved … but by simply looking at it, all of their dead were not mummified not like the kabayan mummy of the Ibaloi and some were also desecrated just to make the tourist mystified and amazed, hahaha … also were informed that a lot of coffins were destroyed during a heavy quake which left a white powder located on the corner of the cave … also the hole of this cave connects to Sumaging cave and could be reached by 4hrs of walk … hehehe, yeah count me out dude, hahaha

yesterday was a holiday here in the Philippines (araw ng kagitingan or valors day) and the heat is quite tremendous actually (about 32C-34C) so Malou and I went to several stores in Glorieta and in Greenbelt just to cool ourselves and we couldn’t help but to check out NSG (National Sports Grill) in GB3 and dig-in to their mud pie with bottomless lemonade and coke at side, hehehe …

actually we planned out for a kart-race yesterday but unfortunately we didn’t make it through because the circuit is closed during Monday’s for repairs and maintenance … so we went to harbor-square for an hour as we’re all waiting for Star City to be open for the public by 6pm … to make the story short, we hit another cool-spot in Iceberg and ordered melon-mango-strawberry con hielo plus a German-sausage, bwahahaha … anyway, we had a kewl day indeed and more than what I expect, hahaha … I’ll be posting more pics later and oh btw, the season for a perfect sunset shot and fiery-skies is back, summer is here na sa Pinas

the next following day we’re all set to go spelunking the Sumaging cave which is actually the main tourist attraction in Sagada … I have with me my D200 and 17-55/2.8 plus I tag along a 12-24/4 as I had a feeling 17-55 might not do the job which I was right, hehehe … Malou and I were sooo excited by but unluckily Malou forgot to bring her cam but it was ok but a bit sayang lng since there are places in the cave the a DSLR is quite bothersome to take out in the dry pack … have with me a dry box to secure my gear also a couple of shirts for me and Malou and several change for the lunch after the caves, hahaha…

Malou and I together with our friends Ptr.Charlie, Grace, John, Jucil, and Chocho spent most of the holy week holiday at Sagada which is near the provincial capital of Bontoc … it’s a 6 hours bus ride starting from the Dangwa bus station in Baguio over the narrow mountain tracks traversing the Cordilleras … so it twas a 12 hours ride all-in-all from Manila and the snake-road goin to Baguio is nothing compared goin to Sagada, hahaha … when you arrived in Sagada you will be in awe of God’s creation as the sight is really breath taking on how vast and beautiful the place is … anyway, we all stayed at kuya Jes and everyday we take a bath at below 20C with no heated water, *bbbrrr .. hahaha … twas quite an adventure that I haven’t have for a very long time now and a life time to experience not only the place but really living in Sagada.

yep yep, I know I know … its almost 3 weeks now and haven’t posted anything to my site … also there was a disaster that happened to our site wherein my hosting (hostingph.com) did A VERY LOUSY work on preventing a disaster … WHICH ACTUALLY CAUSED A MAJOR PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE PREVENTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! … problem is that they changed the server’s IP and everything went hell which quite funny as I didn’t have any static IP defined on my site … they tried to restore my site from their backup tapes and guess what? IT ADDED MORE TO THE PROBLEM as the backup is corrupted … the DB was compromised and a lot of pages we’re lost, sheeeesh!!! they took almost a week trying to resolve the issue, which in the end it was hopeless they couldn’t restore my site they way it was before they did their stuff … so I agreed only to what the last good backup they could find and I will try to restore the lost pages, waaaaaaah!!!

let me know if ever you see anything that’s not working that should be … is it just me? or others as well experience this problem with hostingph.com … any thoughts!? tsk tsk tsk!!!
