last Saturday my brother organized a funshoot with his officemates with a crash course on photography conducted by me, nyahaha … anyway, twas really a fast paced information and more like learning as we take pics along the way … twas really kewl indeed coz Malou went out with us together with Chuckie and Honey.
after the fun shoot we went to MOA for the Pyro Olympics … twas Korea and France who set the nightsky with lots of colors and a thundering kablam, hahaha … we had so much fun and much more knowing several new friends who share same itch … an itch for lights, colors, moments and pressing the blinds before it escape our eyes … happy clickers, hahaha ![]()

Malou and I together with my brother Brian went to Aliwan festival a couple of weeks ago to feast our eyes with colors and a taste of several festivals around the country being held all througout the year … sadly it rained but it didn’t stop anybody from taking pics and starting the party after it … twas kewl to see Malou taking pics with my old Sony F717 cam and though we’re all tired, we’re all happy going home filled with a day of fun and pics to remind us of that fun day.

The team went to Punta Riviera last May 10. We left at around 3am aboard two buses. With family and friends, off we trooped to the beach at Bolinao, Pangasinan. We arrived at Punta Riviera somewhere past 10am. It was an extremely hot day and everyone was looking forward to cooling it off at the pool or beach or perhaps an airconditioned room.
The pool was fine given that it was structured to look like an infinity pool but given KMAD’s number, it was soon looking like a bowl with sardines (hahaha!). Too bad I forgot to take a picture. The beach was not so okay. It had seaweeds near the shoreline which made it look dirty. You needed aqua-shoes to swim or else you’d get an instant and painful footspa because of the stones and rocks here and there. However, it was interesting to see schools of fishes swimming about you even near the shore.
The accommodation was not so fine for KMAD given how large we were. Perhaps if you were only travelling in groups of 3 or 4 you’d be comfortable with the rooms. Aircondition was fine but the water in the bathroom was also saltwater. Get a shock of your life when you brush your teeth and taste the saltwater. ![]()
Anyway, despite everything we had a really fun time because of KMAD’s recognition team. We had a pseudo-amazing race where my team won!!!! Hurray! We had the Miss Geisha contest (it takes a man to be a geisha), where even if my team’s candidates did not win, they surely won the laughter and cheer of the audience. Sharing some pictures with you
I attended mass at Greenbelt Chapel today. Father Bob was the celebrant and he left a seed of thought in my mind.
A graduate of a university that did not advocate apathy … but sadly… I’ve noticed that since I’ve left the college walls, I somehow lived it. Minding my own business … in fear that helping someone begging in the streets might make me part of a big scam like that of the “Budol budol” gang. Yeah, sad but true.
Anyway, back to Father Bob’s homily … he said that he rarely saw a persecuted Christian at present times. Men have grown tender … but .. and there’s that BUT … it’s still Calvary all over again but this time it may even be worse. He shared a poem comparing the present time with Calvary. The poem mentions of Birmingham which is a highly developed place in England. It struck a cord in me so I’m sharing it with you
