Dear diary,Â
Tipoy accompanied me today as I scoured St. Francis Square in search of Christmas gifts for my inaanaks. We ended up buying stuff for ourselves as well. Splurging some of our 13th month paycheck and consoling ourselves that it was well-earned and we deserved a little treat. Anyway, with armloads of shopping bags (Tipoy carried most of it. Hehehe. Thanks thanks!), we made our way to SM MegaMall. A quaint restaurant near Tiendesitas serves a great variety of Italian food. So today … today we had Italian.
Al Dente. A restaurant near Tiendesitas, in front of SM HyperMarket, and along Starbucks (o di ba ang daming landmarks?
Di ko lang kasi maalala ang exact address) is co-owned by a friend of ours. She invited us over today for their soft opening. So off we went and had a sumptuous meal at Al Dente (emphasis on sumptuous)
.
For pasta lovers, you would get your money’s worth with their generous and delicious servings. For pizza lovers, get a taste of the Roman biscuit crust! For meat lovers, their main dishes are deliriously great as well (though we haven’t sampled these dishes yet as we were quite pleasantly full with everything we’ve ordered). For vegetarians, they have a variety of salad choices as well. And since I have a sweet tooth, they have a dessert which is to die for, “Death by Chocolate”. Yep, that is the dessert’s name.
Very yummy! So yummy that Tipoy finished it off before I could blink. Hmmmm … speaking of which, I’m craving for a slice of it right now.

Death by Chocolate … yummy
Hay! Pwede ko lang bang sabihin?!!!
….
It is said that in an average lifetime, you would have spent a total of about six years of it dreaming. That is more than 2,100 days spent in a different realm!
haven’t posted anything yesterday coz of work but still manage to finish watching the 8th and final episode of Smallville for this year, bwahahaha
…
twas entitled Static as Lex was traped in another frequency by a guy who can transfer from different alternate frequencies … hey, how weird can it be? this is Smallville … the home of the meteor freaks, hahaha
… anyway, kewl to see a half-filipino character in the movie and it was Batista, the famous WWE wrestler who happened to be here last month for the Wrestle Mania in Manila. Ibang klase yung appetite nya dito, he’s deboning people and eat their bones not their flesh, nyahaha
… also what’s kewl in this episode is the introduction of John Doe, the alien martian in JLA (i think, hehe) and posted few pics from this episode ![]()

Lex being static
I was lurking to my 5k unread mail (just 1 of the many forums I’m in, hehehe) and I was amazed that Sigma released a new lens, the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS which is almost a similar focal range being produced by Nikon, the 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR.

while waiting for Malou to finish her visa application, I went to Manila baywalk and walked almost the entire stretch to take pics and enjoying the scenery, hehehe … I really planned to bring my camera along with me today since it stayed in my dry box for quite sometime now … time crack some pixels, hahaha … I may not be able to post everything but hope you like it ![]()

running towards my dreams
Malou just passed her interview this morning @ the US Embassy, weeeeeh!
