Currently, I’m playing with my MAC’s IMovies since the look and feel is different after Steve installed a new version. The templates in the old version are nowhere to be found too! huhuhu.
I’ve played around with my cousin’s pictures (to be shown at the reception) and included a background music of Lea’s song, Two Words. I’ve focused mainly on the timing and ensuring that I’ve included the more important pics she shared with me. ![]()
Enjoy my test video.. ![]()
yeah that’s right as I was been away from blogging for a very looong time, hahaha … anyway, the whole seesters and braders gang went out for a much needed vacation esp with Malou as she was really pounded with work recently … we went from Laoag, Pagudpud, Vigan, and LaUnion … twas a mix of our old heritage, shops, food, and best of all walking and diving to Pagudpud beaches … the place is really great for surfers but unluckily the wave really riding our backs rather than us riding the waves, hahaha … ika-nga nila, a washing-machine beach experience, hahaha
well the trip really started and ended really kewl with an additional amazing-race flavor and lots of memories to tell … like a 5min lunch race that really gave us a wow-factor for Juk, as she finished her plate in about 3min or so!?? … hahaha ![]()

As we were walking back to the condo, I told mi mader that the restroom at Greenbelt 5 was nice and clean. She’s a frequent visitor of restrooms whenever we go out so she makes sure she knows where the clean and nice ones were.
So off we went and tried out the restroom of GB5 even if the condo was just across the street. Hehehehe. As we went out the restroom door, there was a seemingly familiar lady withdrawing from the ATM machine. Lo and behold it was Anne Curtis! Hahahaha!
At first we tried to act like we saw stars everyday but Yay Ping, who was a sucker for Anne Curtis telenovelas, couldn’t contain herself and as we were 20 paces away … she went back, placed her hand around Anne Curtis’ back and asked if their picture can be taken.
Anne was really a nice girl because she just said sure with a smile and posed while waiting for Yay Ping to find the camera in her bag. When Yay Ping gave me the camera, I took their picture but guess what … the camera died on me. Hahahaha! By now, Anne was posing such a long time but she really didn’t mind. Good thing I had my good ‘ol phone with me. Otherwise, pahiya si Yayay! Sayang though because Yay Ping wanted to save it in her camera to show-off to her friends back home
It’s been a while since I’ve written. It’s been a while since Tipoy has written too.
Anyway, I just wanted to share some very amusing experiences I’ve had with cab drivers.
Experience 1:
One day I was running late for a 9am training so I hurriedly hailed a taxi got in and barked my destination to the driver who seemed to me like a harmless man in his late thirties. Boy did I underestimate him! Mr. Suave pala itong si kuya! He started out by saying, “Ma’am are you from Cebu? What’s your province?” I thought, he was just being friendly so I said, “No I’m not from Cebu. I’m from Negros Occidental. How about you? What’s your province?” He said he was from Cebu so I thought he was just making small talk. Small talk indeed. I was completely caught offguard by his next comment he said. “Oh I thought you were from Cebu because Cebuanas are really beautiful and ma’am I believe your beauty is Class A. I’m writing this now to get this feeling off me.
How do you handle people who despite the fact that you’ve treated them well, go out of their way to be disrespectful. Actually, I don’t think disrespectful is the right word, I think they think so little of you that they think they can give you an egg and say it’s a chick! (In other words, they think they can fool you.)
It really gets to me how unjust life has become and that sometimes I’ve played with it too. I’ve been tolerant of people because I know how they’ve also given much but my tolerance has somehow been abused. I have been careful not to overstep the boundaries of people but it really gets to me when the very same people you’ve bestowed favors for don’t return the same favor to a colleague or even the same consideration to you.
To this person I’d rather not name:
Have the decency to come up front and say you can’t do it so plans can be made to work around it. Don’t let others paint a beautiful and pristine picture of you which you can’t live up to. Have the decency to give others the respect and consideration that’s been bestowed on you. Don’t make it seem like you’re a victim of circumstance because you’re not. We make our own circumstances and you’ve made yourself a victim of your own folly.
