The day before Dinagyang, Kasadyahan were being celebrated (lit. means happiness). Well, I arrived in Iloilo about 6:30am via CebuPacific (twas a bit late by 10-15min from ETA due to air twafik they’re yaking about in the MNL airport, sheeeesh) … anyway, the festivities started about 8am in the morning and I was late all because of getting my MEDIA ID (yahhooo!! my very first, hehehe) … since I have to fetch it in PIA (Phil. Info. Agency) which is just about .3km away from the Freedom Grandstand … people gave me different directions and nilagpasan ko yung office 2x by about .2km and ang init pa, tsk!

Lesson 1 : know what is needed and where to get it … always get the specific address … if given a foreign word always ask what is the meaning of it esp. if its an acronym … don’t just bluntly say “aahh, yes” and acting like know it stupid! hahaha … coz different people will always give you different directions!

aaahhh … it was a wonderful experience to meet photographers who you do not know but when you guys starting to talk it was as if you’ve know them for a long time … funny how cameras and stuff brings people closer together … finally I’ve met one of my fave photographers, Anton Sheker and sobrang ba-it nya

It’s our first monthsary away from each other. It’s our first too that we barely got to talk because of the time difference and because it’s a weekend. (emote ako todo! hahaha) Steve’s in Iloilo for the Dinagyang shoot, while I am here in this cold cold place. (emote once again!) I’m not depressed just nostalgic, I guess. I wrote a poem for Steve. I’m pasting an excerpt of it here to celebrate our monthsary. Know what? I’m really not used to posting my poems (especially if it’s for him!) but he said, if he had a poem for me (emphasis on IF … hahaha…just kidding!), he’d have no hesitation of posting it for the whole world to see. during my break today found myself watching the 11th episode of Smallville as I was a bit bored, hahaha … anyway, I was really surprised that JLA (Justice League of America) is being grouped and started by GreenArrow … I really thought all the while that it was Superman who founded the group, hhmmm … anyway, the story was about finding and destroying all human experimental facilities of Lex but Impulse (Flash) was captured on the process and GreenArrow’s team (Aquaman and Cyborg) came to rescue Impulse and Clark (Superman) as he was trap to where the green-kryptonite was being kept …

I’ll be leaving for Iloilo this coming Saturday to experince my very first Dinagyang festival, nyahahaha and to take pics as well, yahooo! … kewl to know that I do have an uncle and auntie where my sister and I could crash-in for a few days, hehehe sweet! … yup, my sister will be there not because of the Dinagyang but due to other appointments, hehehe …

Woke up early today in search of a chapel where we could hear mass. It was an adventure because we did not exactly know where it was except through google search. So off we went to find it. As we walked on, we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was snowing. Given this once in a lifetime opportunity, we posed at a driveway despite bystanders looking at us with smirk on their faces.
