dating lolo's and lola's @ Anawim

Submitted by tipoy on March 14, 2008 – 3:43 pm2 Comments

last Sunday we went to Montalban with Malou’s officemate (KMAD) which is a bit far from the city for their outreach program for the elderly brethren at ANAWIM: Refuge For The Poor and Abandoned … btw “Anawim” is a Hebrew word, meaning, “The poor of the Lord”

twas a kewl day indeed to enjoy their company and listen to their stories in life, triumph, and the secrets of their youth … the oldest of them all is Lolo Jose who is a 96 yrs old veteran and just beside Lolo Romulo who I was assigned to be with :D

seeing their smiles and joy behind their trials and learning from them is really a kewl thing … for they were once soo young, wild, and very alive ;)
