last weekend we went to WaterCamp in Cavite to have fun and unwind with the KMAD peeps … I was Malou’s guest and the day was really chunkfull of fun though were both unlucky to get any prizes on the BINGO game, waaah hahaha.
anyway, just sharing few pix I had ![]()
Last Friday night Malou and I together with Donj, MM, Fritz, Lemel, and Mark went out to meet the Ridiculous Burger Challenge by Burger Avenue in A.Avenue, Makati Ave.
The challenge is that you need to finish a 1lb burger (3 patties with cheese) an inch of lettuce and tomatoes within 5 minutes and you’ll have it for FREE! (refunded) … yes, it is really true … so we accepted the challenge (Lemuel, Mark, and me) and guess what? we all FAILED to complete the task, bwahahaha!
after which we had a kewl time discussing why we failed and how to win it … hhhmm, I smell revenge!? hahaha ![]()
123 .. lunok!
During our short-lived Cebu vacation, we wanted to stay at Shangrila Mactan but it was truly an “out-of-our-budget experience” when we inquired about the rates. Hahahaha! At a company rate, they offered 13K for an overnight stay for two persons. At a local rate they offered it at 7.9K (for 2 persons). This would have been enough to have truly turned us off the whole thing but we’ve received great reviews from friends and from the net on the “Shangrila Mactan” experience. So we inquired about their day-trip. The cost was 2K per person but was inclusive of: use of the beach, the pool, towels, and a lunch buffet at Tides. These sounded reasonable especially when we heard of the lunch buffet so off we went to Shangrila Mactan.
finally we arrived at Polaris resort and we’re all hungry and all we could ever think of that time is pancit-pancit-pancit, hahaha … also, never order your dinner which is about 3hrs to be served if you’re really hungry as we ended-up ordering more than what we could muster, hahaha … though syempre Fred, Mitch, and I were havin a great time swimming on the table, hahaha
Bangui Windmill
after our lighthouse experience in Bojeador, we went to the Bangui windmill … twas pretty kewl sight indeed but I think its beauty would flourish more during sunset … anyway, I renderd a sunset effect on PS and hope its kewl, hehehe … really wished that I brought with me a flash that time as I left it in my bag coz it feels like 100m away from the shoreline to the van as well as the sand is finer which makes it harder to go back and get it, hahaha (in syort, tinamad!!! haha)
ok, as promised here’s my next post, hehehe … t’was a long 12hrs and a bit heavy ride on the bus goin to Laoag but I guess twas more ok than our trip to Saga which was quite more challenging esp with the zigzag-road and cliff to scale, hahaha

yeah that’s right as I was been away from blogging for a very looong time, hahaha … anyway, the whole seesters and braders gang went out for a much needed vacation esp with Malou as she was really pounded with work recently … we went from Laoag, Pagudpud, Vigan, and LaUnion … twas a mix of our old heritage, shops, food, and best of all walking and diving to Pagudpud beaches … the place is really great for surfers but unluckily the wave really riding our backs rather than us riding the waves, hahaha … ika-nga nila, a washing-machine beach experience, hahaha
well the trip really started and ended really kewl with an additional amazing-race flavor and lots of memories to tell … like a 5min lunch race that really gave us a wow-factor for Juk, as she finished her plate in about 3min or so!?? … hahaha ![]()
well, here are the few of the tons of pics as I’m currently at work and I guess will be finishing the rest either late this evening or Monday … thanks ulit guys and twas an awesome experience

as mentioned to my previous post, our first stop was the Kusina Salud, twas really a kewl experience wherein it has an enchanting ambiance and you could once again hear crickets and the cool breeze … though twas a bit humid that day, hehe … well I should say, me and my camera were on the right spot with a Bohemian and Spanish atmostphere, you will never run out of subject, hahaha … thanks Rhiz.
I know, this must be a very late post coz Rhiza’s bithday was about 2weeks ago, hahaha … we’ll a good surprise that the seester’s organized will never go unnoticed ![]()

The team went to Punta Riviera last May 10. We left at around 3am aboard two buses. With family and friends, off we trooped to the beach at Bolinao, Pangasinan. We arrived at Punta Riviera somewhere past 10am. It was an extremely hot day and everyone was looking forward to cooling it off at the pool or beach or perhaps an airconditioned room.
The pool was fine given that it was structured to look like an infinity pool but given KMAD’s number, it was soon looking like a bowl with sardines (hahaha!). Too bad I forgot to take a picture. The beach was not so okay. It had seaweeds near the shoreline which made it look dirty. You needed aqua-shoes to swim or else you’d get an instant and painful footspa because of the stones and rocks here and there. However, it was interesting to see schools of fishes swimming about you even near the shore.
The accommodation was not so fine for KMAD given how large we were. Perhaps if you were only travelling in groups of 3 or 4 you’d be comfortable with the rooms. Aircondition was fine but the water in the bathroom was also saltwater. Get a shock of your life when you brush your teeth and taste the saltwater. ![]()
Anyway, despite everything we had a really fun time because of KMAD’s recognition team. We had a pseudo-amazing race where my team won!!!! Hurray! We had the Miss Geisha contest (it takes a man to be a geisha), where even if my team’s candidates did not win, they surely won the laughter and cheer of the audience. Sharing some pictures with you
