Malou and I together with my brother Brian went to Aliwan festival a couple of weeks ago to feast our eyes with colors and a taste of several festivals around the country being held all througout the year … sadly it rained but it didn’t stop anybody from taking pics and starting the party after it … twas kewl to see Malou taking pics with my old Sony F717 cam and though we’re all tired, we’re all happy going home filled with a day of fun and pics to remind us of that fun day.
I’ll just be posting only few pics and hope you guys like it … my 1st time as well to shoot in AdobeRBG and I guess I’m better off with sRGB, hahaha … ![]()

Malou with the tribes from Dinagyang Festival, Iloilo
twas late and a bit hungry but need to stay put with my diet so as the saying goes for Dinagyang, HALA-BIRA! (cge, go on), hahaha … two friends of mine were invited to be judge of the said fireworks show near SM City Manduriao, Leo Solinap and dadi.Anton Sheker … twas a kewl experience though wala akong tripod so I just used my bag instead and hope to see more skies than ground, hahaha

It was been another exhilarating weekend for me as I went back to Iloilo for the Dinagyang festival … this time I was assigned to Stage 4 compared to last year I was at the Freedom grandstand … Stage 4 is the Iznart street just in front of Iloilo Grand Hotel where mostly all of the TravelPhotographer.ph members checked-in, including dadi.Anton, Tok, Takoy, and Rosalie whom I’ve already met when we were in Bacolod during the Masskara festival … I’m also thankful because through this festival, I was able to meet new friends like Dindin, Levi, Allan, and Benj … also Dan Amular and his lovely wife ![]()

after the Caracol festival, I turned my eyes to the wonderful sight of Ayala Museum and took several pics while were still free to click the shutter … FREE TO CLICK!!! yep, you heard me right … I really dunno what the heck is wrong in taking a pic of such wonderful sight and share it with your love ones or to others that they may see our beautiful country AND NOT SOMETHING TO BE SCARED OF!!!

ripples and reflections
yesterday the city government of Makati, through its Museum and Cultural Affairs Office (MCAO) celebrated the Caracol Festival 2008 which was considered as the city’s unique version of the Mardi Gras. Though it was staged at Goldcrest but Malou and I together with several friends decided to stay at the Ayala Museum to get a glimpse of the said festival and take pics..

last time I saw Celito was during the Dinagyang festival 2007 in Iloilo … and now Celito is back again in Bacolod for the Masskara … hhhmm, as far as I could remember I already saw Celito during my collage days in the streets of Bacolod vending cigarettes and bubble-gums for the jeepney drivers.
anyway, Celito always surprise me with with his creativity and wonderful colors he’s painting himself (or others help him with it) … and he doesn’t stop to amaze me every time I see him ![]()

smile Celito, smile ![]()
well, last week I trained 11 people who newly boarded a team and for this week I’m a trainee, nyahaha that’s a cycle I guess, hehehe … anyway, posting this few pics as an evidence that sometimes blurry images is not bad at all and you can still create a lot of artistry with it.
below pics were taken during that Masskara festival and I accidentally made the shutter way below what should have been called a perfect exposure .. I’m about to delete it when I thought that I still have enough storage for the whole day and what would it be like with blasting colors and trails, hehehehe … anyway, check it out and hope you like it … also posting several others pictures taken during the event

this one I’ve sot with a flash

last week I went back home to the city of smiles, Bacolod and celebrate the Masskara festival … it is usually celebrated every 3rd week of October and as far as I could remember we usually go out to witness the grand parade of smiles, colors, energy, arts, and creativity of each and every group participants …
whew!!! I used up almost 10G of pictures for the two days of event … so pardon me for posting only several pix as I’m still reviewing and processing it all … hope you like them and I’ll post more kewl pix in the coming days, hehehe
I wasn’t able to finish the festival coz I was sooo hungry and my friends inviting me for a dinner … sheesh, well who can resist, aber!? hahaha … anyway, my kazin stayed and I got the results of the Aliwan Festval 2007 from his site @ byahilo.com)
posting several pics as well ![]()

last Saturday I went out after a very long slumber of not using my cam for any festival what’s more kewl was that the Aliwan are yearly held here in Manila. Aliwan Festival actually is a gathering of the nations best of the best festivals and they’ll gona compete with each other for the grand prize of 1M pesos, kewl isn’t it? ![]()
Anyway, I went out with my kazin Eric of byahilo.com and it was kinda fun knowing we have the same passion, photography … also seen several friends but wishin Malou was here with me that day (though last year we’re near @ Aliw theater) and seen the vibrant colors, people, the adrenaline rush, and to be baked under the heat of the sun, bwahaha … well, hope you guys like my pics
