last weekend we went to Baguio for our very 1st experience of the Panagbenga (flower festival)
… well, the fact is twas almost di matutuloy due to a sudden change of our duty schedule but alas our manager gave us her blessings, hehehe

btw, I’ll be posting the pics in series since sobrang dami, hahaha … though we didn’t got the photographers ID nuong Sat but ayos lng kC nka-kuha nman ng mga decent pics, hehehe … the pics below were taken Sunday morning during the float parade … all pics were taken by D70 w/ 70-200

Finally we (Leah, Cors and myself) dragged our hibernating bodies out of bed to see a little bit of Chicago (even if a snowstorm was brewing up by the minute). Nothing could stop us from our goal of getting out of the apartment and going somewhere besides the grocery. Now, we don’t know our way around Chicago but it’s great that they have the entire transit thing online. You can actually plan your trips from their website. Now you’d think that with the instructions in hand we wouldn’t get lost, right? WRONG!!!!
during Dinagyang Festival got 2 cams with me and while I was bz taking shots with my midrange lens (to my main cam) I didn’t noticed that my 2nd cam where my zoom lens was attached accidentally set the shutter and I didn’t noticed that my pics are over-exposed, haaaaay … anyway, the pics still usable and glad na naging artistry na lng, hahaha
anyway, dedicating this post for the Tibu Jaro as they really go almost all the way exposed, hahaha! and for their performance? ang galing din … they did what no tribes could do, hehehe ![]()

Yesterday I was invited by Anton to go with him @ the Music Museum to shoot an event which is the Passion y Fuego by the Fundacion Centro Flamenco. I almost arrived late due to heavy traffic since its Friday and muntik na ako makipag-away sa MRT dahil sa siksikan … that’s another stowi … anyway back to the dance … its my 1st time to experience this kind of dance and to tell ya frankly I really enjoyed the show dahil I was fascinated by how fast they move with fearsome and stiff look but they execute it gracefully … malapit sya sa top-dance with a clasping shells (or I dunno what it is) on their hands to make some noise.
about the shoot … I could just easily recall my experience during Dinagyang festival but this time madilim and pabago-bago yung ilaw, sheeesh! I’ve tried different approach and malapit na sa katapusan ng 1st part bago ko na notice yung mga mali ko,waaah! but in the end nakuha ko rin but till now dunno if I really got it right, hehehe
anyway, posting the pics on the first part and hope you like it … noise is very visible as I was shooting between 1100 to 1600 ISO that time.

The day started with a little bit of gloom. It started to snow really hard so I decided to work from home though some of my friends trudged the snow and reported for work. I preferred to sit by the sofa and create my makeshift workspace. Just as I was getting absorbed with work, I felt the sun shine over the entire room. The snow and the gloom were no more! The sun was shining brightly. It’s amazing to see how the skies have cleared and how peaceful everything looked.Â

Today made me realize that life can be a little bit gloomy at times. It depends how you look at it. Some people would stay in the comfort of loved ones while others would brave all odds and face adversity. However … (more…)

As the lands from which they came
And though the words are all unique
Our hearts are still the same

we ventured from Makati to Clark Pampangga about 3am in the morning to catch the preparation and flight of the ballons … kasama ko si Brian (kapatid ko) to our very 1st out-of-the-office shoot for our Special Interest Group (SIG) … I took a days leave with consent from my manager as well as ni Malou as she gave me her blessings …. so, go go go! … thanks Hon ![]()
